If you’re considering a winter getaway, I can think of no place closer to heaven (and far enough away from our freezing Northwest Indiana winters) than Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Even better, Puerto Vallarta is affordable and only three and a half hour plane ride away. My sister and I have taken an Apple Vacations trip to this seaside getaway the past two Februarys, the first was my first visit south of the border and her second, having once visited Cancun for a few days. We both found these to be perhaps our most enjoyable vacations ever, relaxing, exciting and full of beautiful scenery and sunshine galore. I’d recommend a similar trip to anyone in need of tropical breezes and friendly people…
