THE PUERTO VALLARTA BOARD OF TOURISM (FIDEICOMISO DE TURISMO DE PUERTO VALLARTA), domiciled at Local 18, Planta Baja, Zona Hotelera Las Glorias, C.P. 48310, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, with the support and organization of OOH! DIGITAL MARKETING, domiciled at Melchor Ocampo No. 199, Col. Fluvial Vallarta, C.P. 48312, directed at those who meet the requirements established in the following rules.
2. - PERSONS FOR WHOM THESE SWEEPSTAKES ARE INTENDED
This promotion is directed at individuals who are of legal age, residents of Mexico, USA and Canada.
Participation in this promotion is free and does not involve any cost to the consumer/buyer.
Any person who so desires can participate.
Employees of Puerto Vallarta's Board of Tourism may not participate, nor may direct or indirect associates who have participated in the preparation or printing of the components thereof, nor the spouses or relatives of any of them, within the first degree of consanguinity.
3. SWEEPSTAKES PRIZES
Four prizes will be drawn, each one including:
A 3-day, 2-night stay for 2 people at a hotel in Puerto Vallarta.
Dinner for 2 people in one of the best restaurants in the city.
A pass for 2 people for outdoor activities or tours.
Transportation for two people Airport-Hotel-Airport.
Travel Period from January 1 to December 31, 2014, subject to hotel availability and prior reservations with the organizer.
4. CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
Persons wishing to participate will do so by means of a form found on the Board of Tourism's English and Spanish websites home page at www.visitpuertovallarta.com and www.visitapuertovallarta.com.mx and entering all the requested data.
The data requested is as follows (name, e-mail, city and date of birth), and the applicant must expressly accept the conditions regarding the use of their information in accordance with current legislation.
Participation is permitted only to those people, of legal age, who list their residence in Mexico, USA and Canada; anyone who has submitted incorrect, incomplete, or illegible information will be excluded from participating.
This promotion is limited to one entry per person, with the organizer being allowed the discretion to exclude all data considered duplicate.
5. SWEEPSTAKES PROCEDURES
These sweepstakes will be promoted via various digital media such as social networks, online advertising and Puerto Vallarta's Board of Tourism's websites: www.visitpuertovallarta.com and www.visitapuertovallarta.com.mx.
The sweepstakes promotional campaign will be held from September 25 through December 16, 2013, at 6:00 p.m.
To enter the sweepstakes, users will have to fill in the data mentioned in the conditions of participation during the indicated period (from September 25 through December 16, 2013, at 6:00 p.m.).
Participants authorize verification of all data transmitted during participation.
The results of the drawing will be published on December 17, 2013, on our website or on our social networks, and the winner will be informed via e-mail within 15 work days of the drawing. The winner must expressly accept the prize and prove his/her identity via a photocopy of an IFE/passport. Upon receipt of acceptance, the organizer shall notify the winner how to claim the prize.
The denial, failure to deliver, and lack of identification within 30 days from being informed of the award, will result in the loss of the right to the prize.
The prize is not transferable, i.e., if in any event for any reason the winner is unable or unwilling to accept the prize, or renounces the same, the prize would be null and void.
FIDETUR (The Board of Tourism) reserves the right to make changes or successive attachments regarding the drawing and prizes, provided they are justified or do not harm the participants.
6. THE DRAWING
The drawing will be held among the duly-registered participants at the indicated period and through a random lottery system.
The drawing will produce, in the order of the drawing, the names of the winners of the afore-mentioned prizes.
FIDETUR reserves the right to delay the drawing if there is any reason that could justify the delay.
7. LIABILITY OF THE ORGANIZER
The organizer reserves the right to shorten, extend, modify or cancel this promotion, if exceptional circumstances were to occur that prevent carrying it out, communicating such circumstances so as to avoid any harm to the participants in the promotion.
The organizer of the promotion will not be liable for any delay, loss or damage due to causes not attributable to him.
The organizer is not liable for delays, losses or impairments in cases of force majeure.
The organizer shall have no responsibility in cases of force majeure that may prevent the winner from partially or totally enjoying the prize.
The organizer shall also be exempt from all liability should any of the cases mentioned were to occur, as well as from any liability for damages that may arise while enjoying the prize.
The names of the four winners of the drawing for the hotel stays will be posted on our website or on our social networks and will be announced to the winner/s by e-mail within fifteen working days of the drawing. The winner/s should expressly accept the prize and prove their identity by a photocopy of their IFE/passport.
The waiver, failure to make delivery of identity, or lack of acceptance within 30 days from the announcement of the award, will result in the loss of the right to the prize for the winner.
The prize is subject to the statutory provisions in force.
In no instance will the prize be given to those who are underage or lack the legal capacity and/or necessary ability for ownership, use or enjoyment of the prize, unless accompanied by a legal guardian or the proper permission.
The organizer reserves the right to remove from the promotion, for any justified cause, any user who defrauds, alters or disables the proper and normal operation and regulations of it.
9. APPLICATION OF RULES
The mere act of participating in this sweepstakes constitutes acceptance of these terms without reservation.
